WELCOME
After thirteen wonderful years on our farm at Ruffy it was time for a change.
We sold all our 94 beautiful alpacas and llamas at a large auction on site in January 2012 and then purchased a 65' narrowboat (which is now called Parrindi) and have spent 4 months of each of the last five years travelling the canals of England. (Read our Blog for the story of the 2014, 2015 and 2016 travels.) The farm was sold in September 2013 and we moved a few days after returning from the UK to our new home at Broadford near Kilmore, about an hour north of Melbourne. The French provincial style house is set in one acre of garden with two huge eucalyptus in the front garden and heaps of established roses. We are making our mark on the property and have introduced lots of new garden beds. The Parrindi Bed & Breakfast tradition started at the Ruffy Farm many years ago will continue at our Broadford home. (See Bed & Breakfast page for details.) Life is good! |
