ALPACA FLEECE
Alpaca shearing takes place once a year, usually in October/November. Parrindi alpaca fleece is used to make alpaca quilts and processed into knitting yarn in the beautiful natural colours of our multi-coloured herd. We also have fleece in most colours for hand-spinning or felting. This is sold by weight and is $30 per kilo plus postage and handling if applicable.

ALPACA QUILTS
Alpaca quilts have unique thermal qualities giving superb warmth without weight. Alpaca fleece is stronger, softer and lighter than most sheep’s wool. The Parrindi quilts are filled with 80% alpaca fleece, 20% wool and have a casing made from 100% cotton sateen.
Alpaca quilts do not harbor dust mites or their allergens that can cause asthma and allergies in the bedroom.
The only care necessary is to shake the quilt or hang it on a clothes line before using and then every couple of months to fluff out the fibres. The quilts may be dry cleaned if necessary. |

100% ALPACA KNITTING YARN
Parrindi yarn is processed by Fibre Naturally in Maccelsfield and is in 50 gm balls. The yarn is equivalent to a fine 8 ply and is available in natural colours of silver grey, rose grey, rich brown and black.
Care: Warm hand wash. Do not tumble dry. May be dry cleaned.
